Why You Should Always Think of Talent as a Product—And That It’s Not a Job

Talent is not a product, and it’s not even a job, according to a new video from the legendary artist, filmmaker, and activist, Frank Miller.

The video, entitled “Why You Should Never Think of Your Talent as an App,” was released to promote his new book, Talent: The Artist’s Manifesto.

“Talent is not an asset or a liability,” Miller told BuzzFeed News, “but instead, a source of energy and passion that can bring life to an idea.”

Miller explained that talent is the source of all the work and emotion that comes along with the work of a creative.

“You can create anything,” Miller said.

“But if you are a creator, you have to have a creative vision.

If you have a vision, and you have the tools to execute on it, that’s your talent.”

The video begins with Miller explaining the importance of the idea in the creation of the work, and he goes on to explain how to take that vision and make it happen.

“I tell people, ‘This is the work that you’ve made.’

I say that to a lot of people, and I hear it from them often.

And then I tell them, ‘You’re just making it up.'”

The video then shows a series of clips of Miller performing various projects in which he uses his talents to bring his vision to life.

For example, the first clip in the video is a collaboration with musician, writer, and performer Tanya Tucker.

“This is not just a project I’m doing, it’s a collaboration,” Miller says.

“It’s not just me singing along.

I’m singing along, I’m playing guitar.

And I’m improvising.

And it’s me trying to make something out of nothing.

And you can see how the energy is there.

I can’t even explain what it is.

I mean, I can explain what’s happening.

And what’s going on, but I don’t really have an explanation for what it’s going to look like.

That’s where I come in.”

Miller then asks a listener what he’s doing in the clip, and a man named Michael replies: “He’s trying to take over my mind.”

Miller explains that his intention was to help Michael make something beautiful, and the man agrees.

“He said, ‘I love that,'” Miller says, laughing.

“That’s the beauty of it.”

The other clip in Miller’s video is of singer-songwriter Jazmine Sullivan, who is performing at a concert with her band, the Mountain Goats.

The song in the audio clip is “The Other Side of the River,” a song from Miller’s best-selling novel, The Fountainhead.

Miller explained the reason why the song came to be: “It was a song that was written by a guy who was a real estate agent.

He was doing a story on a realtor that was called ‘The Otherside of the Rivers.’

And he was trying to find an old-timey song that had a melody that had something to do with what he was doing in that book.

And the guy who wrote it said, I think I’ve found this song.

I don’s not quite sure where it came from, but it has a melody, and there’s something about it that resonates with me.

And so I started writing it.

And he gave me this little note, and we were just sitting there, and this little thing came up.

And we’re like, ‘Oh, wow.’

And we were like, “We’re gonna have to get this song out of here.”

So we went and bought a copy of The Fountainheads book, and after that, we were going back to the house and I was singing the lyrics.

And Jaz, she was so excited about it, and she was singing it with me.”

Miller added that he wanted the song to sound like it was “in her head,” and so he added a few extra bars.

“And then I sang it back to her, and so that was the beginning of the story.”

Miller said that the song’s “heartbeat” is his voice, and that he hopes that listeners will “feel that, in a way, they’re listening to someone who is actually singing.”

The music video for the song also features a cameo from the singer-writer.

“She sings the song,” Miller tells BuzzFeed News.

“So I don’ have to sing it.”

Miller told the audience that he wrote the song when he was 14, but that it took him years to figure out how to create it.

“A lot of the time, I just would just sit down and just play it out and write lyrics and play piano and stuff,” Miller explained.

“Then I would get a little bit smarter about how to do that.

And eventually, I started to make the music and write it.”
